TL;DR

Recall stores your notification history locally on your device. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

  • ■ Notification content (title, text, source app, timestamp) — stored only on your device so the app can show your history.

  • ■ Personal information or accounts
  • ■ Location data
  • ■ Usage analytics or advertising identifiers
  • ■ Anything transmitted off your device

> PERMISSIONS

  • ■ Notification access — Required so Android allows Recall to read incoming notifications and save them to your local history. This is the core function of the app.

> STORAGE & DELETION

All notification history is stored in a private database on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, permanently deletes the entire history.

> GOOD TO KNOW

  • ■ Recall contains no ads and no third-party analytics SDKs.
  • ■ Notification content can be sensitive. You can exclude any app from logging at any time from within Recall's settings.
