Terms of use
Terms & Conditions — Recall: Notification History
Effective date: 9 September 2026 Last updated: 9 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Recall: Notification History ("Recall", "the app"), an Android application developed and published by Bloomix Labs ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading, installing, or using Recall, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The App
Recall records the notifications your device receives and keeps them in a searchable history stored on your device. It is a utility for your own reference and convenience.
To function, Recall requires Android's notification access permission, which you grant yourself and can withdraw at any time in your device settings. How the app handles what it records is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Recall on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and with Google Play's terms of service.
We retain all rights not expressly granted to you. The app, its name, its artwork, its interface design, and its underlying code remain the property of Bloomix Labs.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age at which you can consent to use online services where you live, whichever is higher. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use Recall only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
Recall is a general-audience utility and is not intended for children.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use Recall. In particular:
Use it on your own device. Install and use Recall only on a device you own or are authorised to use. Do not install it on someone else's device, or use it to record, monitor, or read another person's notifications without their knowledge and consent.
Obey the law. Laws in many places restrict intercepting, recording, or accessing another person's communications, and can impose serious penalties. Using Recall in a way that breaks those laws — including to monitor a partner, family member, employee, or anyone else without their informed consent — is a misuse of the app, is prohibited under these Terms, and is your responsibility alone.
Look after what it records. Your notification history may contain private information, including message content and one-time passcodes. It is stored on your device and protected by your device's own security, together with the app's optional biometric lock. Keeping your device secure is your responsibility.
Keep your own copies. Recall does not back up your history. Data can be lost through device failure, loss, theft, an app or system update, clearing app data, or uninstalling. We are not responsible for lost history.
5. Things You May Not Do
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law
- Copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of the app
- Distribute, sell, sublicense, rent, or lease the app or any part of it
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trade mark, or ownership notices
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with advertising, purchase verification, or any security feature of the app
- Use the app to violate the rights of others, or for any unlawful purpose
6. Advertising and Purchases
Recall is free to download and supported by advertising. It also offers an optional paid upgrade.
Advertising. Ads are served by third parties and their content is not ours. We do not endorse advertised products or services, and we are not responsible for them or for anything you do as a result of seeing them. What data the advertising service processes is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Purchases. The paid upgrade is sold and processed by Google Play. Your purchase is a transaction with Google, governed by the Google Play Terms of Service, and we never see or handle your payment details. Entitlements are tied to your Google account.
Refunds are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy, and any statutory right of withdrawal you have under your local consumer law is unaffected by these Terms. We cannot issue refunds directly, but if something has gone wrong, contact us and we will help where we can.
Changes to features. We may change what is included in the free and paid versions in future releases. We will not remove a feature you have already paid for without offering a reasonable remedy.
7. Availability, Updates and Changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue Recall, or any of its features, at any time. Updates may be delivered automatically through Google Play depending on your settings.
We may stop supporting older versions of Android or older releases of the app. We may also, if we choose, stop distributing the app entirely; if we do, the copy already installed on your device will keep working for as long as your device supports it, but will no longer receive updates.
8. No Warranty
Recall is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In particular, we do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every notification will be captured. Android may stop the app's background service, delay it, or restrict it — through battery optimisation, doze mode, memory pressure, manufacturer-specific power management, or changes to the operating system. Notifications may therefore be missed, delayed, or recorded incompletely.
Do not rely on Recall as your only record of anything important. It is a convenience utility, not an archival, evidentiary, medical, financial, or safety-critical system.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bloomix Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, Recall — including any notification that was missed, delayed, lost, or recorded incompletely.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) INR 1,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bloomix Labs against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the app, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of another person's rights — including any claim brought by someone whose notifications you recorded without their consent.
11. Termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use Recall. You may end them at any time by uninstalling the app.
We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these Terms. On termination, you must stop using the app and remove it from your devices. Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts at Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may be entitled to bring proceedings there.
13. General
Whole agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Bloomix Labs regarding Recall.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force, and that provision is modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Third-party terms. Your use of Google Play and of any advertised third-party service is governed by their own terms, not ours.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised version at the same address. Material changes will be signalled in the app or on our website where practical. Continuing to use Recall after a revision takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
