Keeps a searchable log of the notifications you've dismissed — sender, time, full text. The log lives in the app's own storage on the device and goes nowhere else.
Quietly good Android apps.
No clutter, no upsells, nothing shouting at you. Just software that does its job well.

Bloomix Labs makes Android apps. We keep them focused, we finish them properly, and we leave out everything that isn’t the point.
Our apps
A few so far. More on the way.
A calculator built like an old desk machine: a paper tape that keeps every entry, big keys you can hit without looking, and nothing else on screen.
A full-screen compass with a real needle, working bezel and true north.
Hourly and 7-day forecasts, pollen, air quality, UV — and the good windows in your day for laundry, a run or a ride.
Alarms for full charge, low battery, overheat, and any level you choose — loud enough to hear from across the room.
Spin the fruit to set the time. A Pomodoro timer with no buttons at all.
What we’re about
Three things every Bloomix app gets.
The design isn’t the last step
Plenty of apps look like they were finished in an afternoon. We put the time into the part you actually touch. How it looks, how it responds, how fast it gets out of your way.
Nothing shouting at you
No nagging, no rate-this-app popups the moment you open it, no badge on your home screen inventing urgency. An app should be quiet until you need it.
Out when it’s ready
We release one app at a time, when it’s finished rather than when it’s due. There’s no roadmap we’re obliged to fill.
Your app, built the way we build ours
We take on a small amount of client work alongside our own, so a project gets the same attention as the ones with our name on them.
Tell us what you’re trying to do rather than the spec you’ve written. That’s usually the better conversation, and it costs nothing to start one.
Native Android
Built properly for Android, not wrapped from something else. The only platform we work on.
Design and build
The interface gets as much attention as the feature list, from the people writing the code.
Shipped to Play
Taken through review and onto Google Play, more than once. The last mile is familiar ground.
From the blog
Occasional writing about Android and interface design. No schedule.
Straight answers
The questions we get most.
Are your apps free?
Some are free with nothing to buy. Others are free with an optional paid upgrade. Each app's page says which, and so does its Play listing.
Do your apps show ads?
Some do, some don't. Where an app is ad-supported, its page says so and the paid upgrade removes them. We don't put ads in an app and then hide that fact until after you've installed it.
Do they work without an internet connection?
It depends on the app, and each app's page says. Several of ours do everything on the device and never need a connection at all.
That’s the whole pitch
There’s nothing to sign up for here. No newsletter, no account, no waiting list. If something we made turns out to be useful to you, that’s the entire goal.
